Abstract

The role of pharmacists as a profession in the health sector has very important duties, especially in drug education. Introduction to the profession of pharmacist and introduction to the rational use of medicines at an early age is one of the tasks of pharmacists. This service was carried out using socialization and education methods along with teaching aids to grade 5 students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Mukarramah. The material presented is in the form of introductory material to the pharmacist profession and DaGuSiBu material. This activity aims to introduce the pharmacist profession as a health worker and a source of information on the correct use of medicines so as to create an increase in health status. From the results of this service, it can be seen that students are very enthusiastic and active in participating in activities so that there is a change in students' knowledge about drug use. Education like this must be increased further with a larger number of participants from various schools so that more elementary school students know how to use drugs rationally.
