Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic occurred across various countries. Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by the corona virus which causes social restrictions and physical activity as well as the closure of schools for teenagers, which are factors that can affect teenagers' mental health. Mental health is the fifth largest contributor to the global burden of disease. More than 80% of people suffering from global diseases have not received treatment. In adolescents, the mental health they will experience will involve the domains of cognitive, physical and socio-emotional development. develop a comprehensive understanding of the condition of mental health services among teenagers at Bawakaraeng High School. The aim of the activity is to increase awareness of the importance of mental health in adolescents. Using observation, preparation, implementation and evaluation methods. The results of the activities and there was an increase in knowledge with pre test scores in the good knowledge category about mental health awareness, namely 10 people (33.33%) and less than 20 people (66.67%), then the post test results with good knowledge about mental health awareness were 28 people (93.33%) and less than 2 people (6.67%).
