Hubungan Metode Persalinan dan Dukungan Bidan dengan Mobilisasi Dini pada Ibu Nifas di RSUD Jailolo

Early mobilization is an important intervention to accelerate the recovery process of postpartum mothers. The implementation of early mobilization is influenced by several factors, including the method of delivery and midwife support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the method of delivery and midwife support with early mobilization among postpartum mothers in the Delivery Room of RSUD Jailolo. This study employed a quantitative method with an analytical observational design using a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 50 postpartum mothers selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a respondent characteristics form, an early mobilization observation sheet, and a midwife support observation sheet. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-Square test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that most respondents received good support from midwives (60.0%) and demonstrated good early mobilization (62.0%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between the method of delivery and early mobilization (p = 0.007), with mothers who had vaginal deliveries showing better early mobilization than those who underwent cesarean section. A significant relationship was also found between midwife support and early mobilization (p = 0.021). This study concludes that the method of delivery and midwife support are significantly associated with early mobilization among postpartum mothers. Continuous education and assistance from midwives are recommended to promote faster maternal recovery after childbirth.
